5.  ...why Armand Bombardier invented the snow mobile?

It was because of the death of his two-year-old-son in 1935. The little boy had appendicitis and peritonitis and the family could not get him to the hospital, 50 kilometres away-the roads were snowed in. The result was a seven-passenger snow vehicle. The Ski-doo followed 23 years later.
