Hey, Kids! Sponsored by YES Mag

1.  ...who is responsible for AM radio?

Canadian Reginald Fessenden. Oh sure, Guglielmo Marconi sent a wireless telegraph signal one-way across the Atlantic in 1901, but Fessenden not only made the first wireless voice transmission in 1900, but also the first two-way transmission in 1906 from Scotland to Massachusetts. He's also considered the father of AM radio-he made the first public broadcast of music and voice on Christmas Eve in 1906.
